After her studies of philosophy, Ophélie Asch turned to life as an artist. She often works in three-dimensions using different media. Her works are best described as dreams. She creates spaces and movement with her photos and also uses paint in this imaginary landscape.
Her photo series Rain People lets us wander in a world where dream, fiction and reality are one. She shows a troubling and obscure vision of people passing by. Their bodies, mirrored in puddles, are reflections of their lives transformed by the rain. This project transports the spectator to a land of poetry and esoteric romanticism, redolent with the promise of a unique experience.
