Galerie Fontana was proud to present our first solo exhibition with Belgian artist, Roeland Tweelinckx. Never have we spent so much time inside our dwellings as we have in the year 2020. We have normalized this historical time and before we knew it, life became business as usual.
But it is not business as usual.
Situated between what we think and what we perceive, the autonomous sculptures and spatial interventions of Roeland Tweelinckx, ask us, to rediscover the everyday objects found in public and private spaces. Iconic Tweelinckx works such as bricks and radiators carry references to contemporary life and art history, yet they situate themselves within a new context, the city of Amsterdam.
Exhibition: Business as usual, but how did I get here?
